Job summary

Christiana Care’s Sleep Wellness Center in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team. You will evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of sleep disorders, and collaborate with three physicians, one PA, one nurse, and one psychologist to deliver comprehensive sleep care.

The role focuses on daytime clinic care, with opportunities for virtual visits.

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Board certification (ANCC/AANP for NPs & NCCPA for PAs).
• Prescriptive Authority, DEA registration, BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sleep-focused medical histories and physical exams.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests (PSGs, HSAT, nocturnal oximetry).
• Develop and adjust individualized medical care plans for sleep disorders (e.g., sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy).
• Prescribe appropriate medical equipment and medications as allowed by licensure.
• Educate patients on sleep hygiene and device use.
• Manage clinical triage and follow-up coordination.
