Job summary

Atrium Health is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant for Virtual Sleep Health. This position involves caring for sleep patients, with emphasis on OSA, in a fully remote ambulatory setting.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) and a focus on history, virtual exams, orders, and collaborative care with the sleep team. Salary is commensurate with experience and incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
• Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body is required
• Physician Assistants with certification from the NCCPA is required
• 2+ years of APP sleep experience preferred
• North Carolina license and NC DEA required

Responsibilities

• Obtain a medical history, virtual exam, document findings and prepare a plan of care including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate tests/procedures.
• Participate and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
