Job summary

NORTH AMERICAN DENTAL SLEEP MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a growing sleep medicine practice. The role interfaces with patients through telemedicine led by a Nurse Practitioner, while the in-office team provides hands-on care and coordination throughout the patient journey.

The Medical Assistant coordinates home sleep testing, educates patients, assists with follow-up care, and manages administrative tasks to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or 2+ years of clinical administrative experience in a medical setting.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with a patient-first mindset.
• Comfortable working with telemedicine platforms and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients to support their therapy and encourage treatment completion.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate providers for Treatment.
• Monitor and follow up with patients regarding compliance and treatment success.
• Schedule patient appointments and collect co-pays in advance of telemedicine visits.
• Participate in telemedicine visits to educate and guide patients on next steps.
• Collaborate with sleep medicine specialist to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Dispense, track, and monitor Home Sleep Test (HST) devices.
• Follow up with patients who have not returned HST devices and assist with troubleshooting.
