Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for the Kootenai Clinic - Sleep Lab. The role involves in-lab and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and direct patient education.

Requirements include board/regulatory sleep technologist registration and Idaho licensure; BLS is also required. The facility offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay with shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic testing for sleep disorders including baseline diagnostic polysomnograms (PSG), positive airway pressure titrations (CPAP, Bi-level PAP, AVAPs, ASV), multiple sleep latency (MSLT), titration of oral devices for OSA, and supplemental oxygen titration
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
