Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in South Carolina seeks a Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography, home sleep apnea testing, and related diagnostic services. You will educate patients, set up and calibrate equipment, and assist with CPAP/BiPAP therapy.

Requires knowledge of sleep study procedures and pediatric to geriatric patient care. Under supervision, you will support the Sleep Lab and Clinical Medical Director, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to safety and infection-control

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Education can be substituted by a polysomnography program of at least 1 year or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under supervision.
• Assist with polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Document and educate patients; calibrate equipment and apply electrodes; fit PAP masks.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events per AASM guidelines; follow data collection protocols.
