Job summary

Washington Regional in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Non-Registered Polysomnographic Tech to assist with sleep evaluations under the Sleep Lab Manager. You will help with in-center PSG and HSAT, ensure accurate data and patient education, and provide compassionate care per facility standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of A-STEP modules preferred.
• BLS certification required; national sleep credentials preferred.
• Professional credentials (RST/RPSGT/SDS/CPSGT) preferred and may be required over time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure accurate recordings and safe operation.
• Complete patient intake and orientation, including assessment, education, consent verification as applicable, and accurate documentation.
• Apply and secure sensors/electrodes and complete patient hook-up in accordance with standards.
• Monitor patients during testing, recognize events/artifacts, and intervene to support comfort and data quality.
• Review, score, and annotate studies after data acquisition for provider interpretation.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff and participate in ongoing competency activities.
