Job summary

Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Non-Registered Polysomnographic Tech to assist with sleep disorder evaluations and treatments in the Sleep Lab. You will perform in-center polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing, ensuring accurate data and providing patient education in line with facility protocols.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient hookup, monitoring, data scoring, and supporting staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of A-STEP education modules through the AASM.
• BLS certification is required.
• Eligible for professional credentialing in sleep (RST/RPSGT/CPSGT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep equipment for accurate recordings.
• Complete patient intake and orientation with education and consent verification.
• Apply sensors/electrodes and hook up patients per AASM standards.
• Monitor patients during testing and respond to events to protect data quality.
• Review, score, and annotate sleep studies for provider interpretation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing competency training for staff.
