Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Verify the medical order and procedure.

• Gather data through PSG studies.

• Complete and verify documentation.

• Perform various Sleep Studies and assist in scoring them after a specified period.

• Promote a supportive environment that encourages collegiality.

• Explain procedures and orient patients to the sleep center.

• Perform sleep study procedures requiring judgment and clerical duties, aligning with hospital and departmental mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications needed:

• Completion of an approved Sleep Disorders program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, State Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, Polysomnographer, Registered Sleep Technician, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
