Job summary

Providence Health and Services is hiring a polysomnographic technologist for our Santa Rosa sleep laboratory. The role involves independent testing, operation of sleep study equipment, patient preparation, and monitoring recordings to ensure data quality and patient safety.

Required licenses include a California Polysom Technologist License and a BLS certification. Some experience is preferred; a sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• California Polysom Technologist License upon hire.
• National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist upon hire or National Certified Polysomnographic Technician upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct polysomnographic testing and operate sleep study equipment safely.
• Explain procedures, prepare patients and apply recording devices.
• Monitor polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety and data quality.
