Job summary

Mattress Firm Inc. seeks a Sleep Expert to elevate the in-store experience and act as a trusted sleep authority. You will support stores within a 30-45 minute radius of your home store, offering best-in-class products and cultivating customer relationships.

You will execute selling programs with digital tools, drive sales KPIs, and foster omnichannel engagement, while maintaining post-purchase relationships and staying aware of the competition.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in retail or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of mattresses and sleep products.
• Ability to meet sales KPIs and deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority.
• Provide product knowledge and support selling programs using digital tools.

Job Details

• Employee may support stores in a 30-45 minute radius of home store location.
• The Sleep Expert will elevate and enhance the customer's in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
• Experts will execute Mattress Firm selling programs with the use of digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience to create a compelling and engaging environment that puts the customer at the center.
• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of the competition, advertisements and services offered by competitors.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.

Compensation

Competitive pay range of $59,000-$73,000 * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company. *Pay amount does not guarantee employment for any particular time.
