Job summary

The Office of Graduate Education at Georgia Tech is seeking an Enterprise Systems Analyst II to join its Slate technical team and manage Georgia Tech's graduate enrollment Slate instance. You will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and processes that support recruitment, admissions, and enrollment across on-campus and online programs.

Work with technical and functional partners to translate business needs into effective technical solutions, reporting to the Director of Graduate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to three years of job related experience.
• Occasional travel between training locations required; extended sitting; keyboard and computer hardware handling.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues within servers, databases, and other mission-critical systems.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
• Record, track, and document the problem-solving process through final resolution and communicate issues to stakeholders.
• Research software application products and services in support of development and purchasing efforts.
• Test new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.
• Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including service packs and patches as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
