Job summary

Seattle Stone is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage slab inventory, coordinate deliveries, and oversee daily warehouse operations in Seattle. You will lead a team to ensure timely task completion, safety compliance, and accurate stock control within a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Responsibilities include unloading containers, using AS400 or similar systems to track inventory, and collaborating with other departments to optimize processes. Forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Proficient in warehouse operations including inventory control and safety compliance.
• Experience with AS400 or similar inventory systems.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage stone slabs inventory, deliveries, and slab handling.
• Unloading Containers and Slab Bundles from Shipping Containers
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the stone warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Coordinate and prioritize work assignments to meet production goals and customer demands
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies for accurate inventory control
• Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track and manage inventory
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate forklift or other materials handling equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role in a 3PL or logistics environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Proficient in warehouse operations, including inventory control, materials handling, and OSHA regulations
• Experience working with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
