Job summary

Danieli Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for the NSWV slab caster maintenance contract. You will coordinate the NSWV site team, the Ashland workshop, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of maintenance, refurbishment, and spare parts activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 3–5 years of experience with slab caster components, and the ability to travel at least 50% to Danieli facilities and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience with mechanical equipment, especially slab caster components.
• Experience coordinating workshop repairs, suppliers, and site teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project; ERP experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% to Danieli facilities and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage all NSWV slab caster maintenance contract activities per contract requirements, schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate NSWV site team, Ashland workshop, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for timely execution of maintenance, refurbishment and spare parts activities.
• Oversee workshop repairs, inventory levels, copper mould repair and plating with site teams and purchasing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Logistics, Sales, Shipping, and Finance to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare progress reports, contract variations, and monthly internal reports; maintain project documentation.
