Summary of Position: A SLA tutor provides academic support through SLA workshop sessions focused on specific courses or topics with the guidance of the SLA facilitator. This role involves assisting SLA workshops that review key concepts, reinforce course material, and help students prepare for assignments and exams. SLA tutors help students learn by providing focused, interactive learning activities in a group setting. SLA workshops take place in a classroom provided by the department or professor for up to 1 hour and 15 per session.
