Job summary

VELUX Group is seeking an Assembly Operative to perform repetitive assembly tasks for skylight components on an on-site shift in Wells, Maine. The role requires following production standards, quality checks, and safety rules while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

You will install components, read blueprints when needed, and support the team in meeting daily output goals with attention to detail and teamwork. This hands-on position offers steady full-time hours and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience reading blueprints preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Team-oriented with good attendance and safety habits.

Responsibilities

• Install components to assemble finished products.
• Perform repetitive assembly operations per production standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
• Ensure production, quality and safety standards are met.
• Assist with other assignments as directed by supervision.
