Job summary

VELUX in Wells, ME is seeking an Assembly Operative to perform repetitive assembly operations for skylight components. You will install parts to assemble finished products while maintaining quality, safety, and 5S practices.

The role runs Monday–Thursday, with an hourly pay of $20.25 and potential overtime. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and prior production experience; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and read blueprints is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
• Experience reading and utilizing blueprints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install components to assemble finished product.
• Ensures production, quality and safety standards are met.
• Performs cleaning and maintaining of 5’s practices.
• Performs other assignments as directed by local supervision.
