Job summary

PHI Health, LLC in Greencastle, IN is seeking Flight Paramedics to join our elite team. This role focuses on rapid response, advanced medical transport, and critical care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Under supervision of the Base Medical Supervisor, you will provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients, maintain required certifications, and participate in continuous education and reporting, all while upholding our

Qualifications

• Must have an active paramedic certification in the state employed.
• Minimum of three years (five years preferred) current Paramedic field experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS.
• NRP preferred.
• Instructor certifications preferred.
• FP-C within twenty-four months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam.
• Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of specialized assessments and emergency treatment for patients transported by air or ground.
• Documents information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport and for billing.
• Maintains communication with management and external customers; supports PR/marketing efforts.
• Maintains knowledge base for flight paramedic role via meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, labs and continuing education.
• Completes annual recurrent competency requirements and certifications as required by policy.
