Job summary

PHI Health in Richmond, TX is seeking flight paramedics to join our life-saving team. You will provide rapid, critical care during aeromedical transport and inter-facility missions, ensuring patient safety and efficient care in high-stress environments.

The role requires active paramedic certification, 3+ years in the field, and flight/transport experience. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available and comprehensive clinician benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the employed state.
• 3+ years paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS certifications; NRP preferred.
• FP‑C certification within 24 months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Must pass PHI Air Medical orientation program.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill/injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility transports.
• Perform specialized assessments, therapies and emergency treatment.
• Document accurate information for assessment, treatment and billing.
• Maintain knowledge through mandatory meetings, charts, equipment reviews and continuing education.
• Complete annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Maintain active paramedic certifications and adherence to scope of practice.
