Job summary

Louisiana Dermatology is seeking an Aesthetician - Laser Technician in Baton Rouge to assess client skin health, tailor treatments, and deliver high-quality procedures. The role emphasizes strong communication, record-keeping, and reliability in a dermatology setting.

The candidate will perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Hydrafacial, DiamondGlow, microneedling/RF, laser hair removal, IPL, and pulsed dye laser while educating clients and managing follow-ups and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Aesthetician license required.
• 0–1 year of dermatology or spa experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform aesthetic treatments such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser-related procedures.
• Educate clients about available treatments and options for skin improvement.
• Follow up with clients regarding treatments, promotions, and new services.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records and scheduling in the patient management system.
• Manage supply inventory and place orders as necessary.
• Handle clinical procedures including chemical peels, Hydrafacial, DiamondGlow, microneedling/RF microneedling, laser hair removal, IPL, and pulsed dye laser.
• Handle administrative tasks such as prior authorizations and communicating financial responsibilities to clients.
• Maintain reliability and attendance; perform additional duties as assigned.
