Job summary

Louisiana Dermatology Associates is seeking an Aesthetician - Laser Technician to assess clients' skin conditions, tailor treatments, and deliver high-quality procedures to achieve the desired results while ensuring client satisfaction.

You will perform facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling with RF, laser hair removal, IPL, and Pulsed Dye Laser; educate clients on options; maintain treatment records and manage supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of experience in a dermatology or spa environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aesthetic treatments such as facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and advanced medical aesthetics.
• Educate clients about available treatments and options for skin improvement.
• Follow up with clients regarding their treatments, promotions, new services, events and other offerings.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records, contact information and follow-up details using the patient management system.
• Manage supply inventory and place orders as necessary.
• Perform clinical procedures including chemical peels, Hydrafacial, DiamondGlow, Microneedling/RF Microneedling, Laser hair removal, IPL, Pulsed Dye Laser.
• Handle administrative tasks such as initiating prior authorizations, notifying clients of approvals and financial responsibilities, and scheduling appointments.
