Qualifications

• A caring heart and commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance are required.
• Willingness to undergo state and federal fingerprint background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered instruction through planned community activities.
• Support individuals in accessing community resources and planning engaging activities.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments, errands, or leisure.
• Track and document progress with accurate case notes.
• Redirect inappropriate behaviors and facilitate positive resolutions.

What You'll Do

• Provide person-centered instruction through planned community activities
• Support individuals in accessing community resources, planning engaging activities, and strengthening their skill sets
• Take individuals on community outings—whether for appointments, errands, or just to enjoy the day
• Track and document progress, capturing accurate and concise case notes
• Redirect inappropriate behaviors and facilitate positive resolutions to challenges.
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support

What You Bring

• A caring heart and a commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance
• Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check
• CPR Certification and a recent TB test (we can help you obtain both if needed)
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus—but if you bring passion and dedication, we’ll provide the training
