Qualifications

• Typically has 0–1 year of related experience.
• Able to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures.
• May require apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies as flat and horizontal welder.
• Perform oxy-fuel burning, carbon arcing, and hand weld in all positions (fillet and groove).
• Work with manual, automatic, or semi-automatic welding equipment as per layouts and blueprints.
• Receive detailed instructions and close supervision on routine tasks.
• Contribute as a team member on manufacturing assignments with clear goals.
