Qualifications

• Welding in multiple positions with wire-feed
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and drawings
• Must pass a welding test
• Capable of standing, bending, and climbing for long periods
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and handling heavy tanks

Responsibilities

• Weld in multiple positions on tanks and related components
• Operate plasma cutter, grinder, and flame cutting torch
• Fit up and assemble parts
• Position parts using bridge cranes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and safety documentation
• Maintain work within required tolerances
• Assist other production staff as needed
