Staffmark is hiring a Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on various metals, reading blueprints, setting up and maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring welded parts meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; welding certification or technical training preferred.
• Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick, or FCAW) in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare welding equipment, tools, and materials.
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding (depending on project needs).
• Read, understand, and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality and ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances.
• Make adjustments to weld settings to maintain strong, clean welds.
• Perform grinding, fitting, and basic fabrication as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop policies.
• Complete daily production logs, inspection forms, or other paperwork as required.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot issues or improve processes.
