Qualified candidates bring 4+ years of professional welding experience, strong TIG welding skills, and the ability to interpret fabrication drawings and AWS symbols. AHS/education and tools support success in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year vocational welding program or equivalent preferred.
• AWS Welding Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on various weldments with tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
• Lay out, fit, tack, and fabricate weldments using fixtures and jigs.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
