Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a 1st shift Welder in Harlan, Iowa. You will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble frames, stands, reels, and shafts using MIG, TIG, and torch welding equipment.

A strong focus on blueprint reading and quality will guide daily tasks. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years MIG/TIG welding experience, aluminum and stainless TIG experience, and a relevant certificate or associate degree.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or equivalent training.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education.
• 2-5 years MIG and TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Welds parts using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment.
• Reads blueprints and ensures product quality.
• Maintains 5S in the department.
• Repairs, dismantles, and reassembles parts as needed.
• Supports and communicates 5S initiatives.
