Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Welder Fabricator in Pineville, LA to fabricate, join, and repair metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The role requires reading blueprints, planning welding procedures, and performing cutting, fitting, and welding on aluminum, stainless steel, iron, and other alloys. A high school diploma and 3–5 years of welding experience are preferred. Staffmark offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years welding and fitting experience.
• Experience with aluminum, stainless steel, iron or other alloys preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication processes.
• Must pass a welding test and fabrication exam.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
• Plan welding procedures, materials, and tooling requirements.
• Prepare, clean, and position materials for welding.
• Fit, align, and assemble fabricated, cast, and forged components.
• Perform cutting, burning, and welding operations on various metals.
• Measure and inspect workpieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Use rulers, squares, measuring tapes, and other precision tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all quality and safety standards.
