RNGD in Metairie, LA, seeks a Welder/Shop Fitter to accurately assemble structural steel components, stairs and railings. You will read shop drawings, lay out parts, and verify alignment and fit before welding.

Collaborate with welders and foremen to coordinate schedules, maintain quality and safety, and deliver precise fabrication on time. A high school diploma is required, with preferred metal fabrication certification.

Responsabilidades

• Layout and assembly: read shop drawings and lay out structural steel, stairs, and railings.
• Fabrication and preparation: measure, cut, bend, form metal parts, prepare components for welding.
• Collaboration: work with welders and shop foreman to coordinate schedules and priorities.
• Quality and safety: perform checks to ensure tolerances, keep a safe workspace.
• Support welding operations by delivering prepared components.
