Job summary

Paycom in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. You will fabricate and assemble metal parts using MIG, TIG, and resistance welding and read blueprints for accurate fits.

This on-site role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. You’ll operate machines, measure parts, troubleshoot, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication machines such as welding equipment and shears.
• Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to verify accuracy and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs on welding equipment.
• Maintain safety and quality by following ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace and report issues.
