Job summary

IMT, an Oshkosh company, is seeking weld team members to join the weld department. You will weld on the crane components or the truck body, assemble and weld metal parts, and ensure quality through to final finish.

The role requires at least 1 year welding experience, basic blueprint reading, and the ability to read measuring instruments and use basic hand tools. Overhead crane operation is optional; dependability and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in welding.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Ability to read measuring instruments.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• 2 years’ experience in welding.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set up in fixtures, tack welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Assemble & weld various metal parts, conforming to IMT standards.
• Cut, fit, heat & bend, performing weld repairs, & rebuild parts as directed.
• Operation of overhead cranes.
• Being a reliable and punctual team member.
