Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation's IMT welding team in Iowa is seeking skilled welders to join the department responsible for welding parts of the crane and truck bodies. You will weld on various metals, perform repairs, and ensure quality finishes on assemblies.

  • Operate overhead cranes.
  • Be a reliable and punctual team member.

Summary:

Our weld team members may weld the parts of the crane or the actual box of the truck. You will weld on various metals, performing repairs and cleaning welds as required for the completion of the truck body.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Set up in fixtures, tack welding on all gauges of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Assemble & weld various metal parts, conforming to IMT standards.
  • Cut, fit, heat & bend, performing weld repairs, & rebuild parts as directed.
  • Operation of overhead cranes.
  • Being a reliable and punctual team member.
