Job summary

Qualified candidates have a welding certificate or 2+ years of welding experience and can read blueprints and tapes. AWS D.1.1 certification must be obtained within three months of hire; excellent benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend.
• Basic computer usage knowledge.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.
• Welding certification or 2+ years welding experience; AWS D.1.1 within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and cut to meet blueprint standards.
• Perform GMAW and/or FCAW welding using arc and gas welding equipment.
• Trim, file, grind, sand, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces with hand and power tools.
• Inspect assemblies with respect to specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics (blueprints) and work orders.
