Job summary

Landscape Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our Nashville team. You will perform removal, pruning, and maintenance using rigging and climbing techniques to ensure tree health and safety.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in tree care and is comfortable using chainsaws and rigging gear while following strict safety protocols. Overtime and equipment are provided, with a focus on safe, quality work.

Qualifications

Strong background in tree care and climbing techniques.
Experience with arborist rigging and bucket truck operations desirable.
Proficiency with chainsaws and hand tools with strict safety protocols.
Understanding of safety procedures when working at heights or with heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

Climb trees using safety equipment and rigging to prune, trim, or remove.
Safely lower large branches or trees using arborist rigging techniques.
Perform tree removal, pruning, and maintenance with precision for health and safety.
Apply tree care knowledge including disease management and growth promotion.
Operate chainsaws and other hand tools following safety protocols.
Assist with land clearing, landscape maintenance, and lawn care as needed.
Adhere to all safety procedures while working at heights or near heavy equipment.
Maintain and document tools and equipment status on site.
