Position: Skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician

Location: Kansas City, KS

Pay Range: $20.00 to $35.00 depending on skill set

Job Type: Full-Time

What you will be doing: You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Carrier and Thermo King Refrigeration units; diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components; and keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.

Requirements to Apply:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification
• 1-2 years' experience with transport refrigeration units, including Thermo King refrigeration repair, diesel engine repair, low and high voltage electrical systems, and microprocessors
• EPA Certification with refrigerant
• Own tools
• Ability to work overtime and on-call
• Maintain certifications and training
• Use diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle objects
• Use of computers for training and work orders

• Ability to operate a forklift safely
