Job summary

American Transportation Services is seeking qualified trailer technicians to service trailers and converter dollies in Murfreesboro, TN. We offer a stable environment, flexible shifts, and opportunities to work with a Fortune 500 package delivery company in a clean, well-maintained facility.

Requirements include 1–3 years as a trailer/chassis mechanic and owning the necessary tools. Pay is based on verifiable experience and certifications.

Qualifications

Qualified Mechanic: 1-3 years as a trailer/chassis mechanic (or similar).
Must Pass Background Check.
MIG welding and ASE/DOT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform FAI and State required inspections.
Inspect and repair S-cam air brake systems.
Diagnose and repair anti‑lock brake systems.
Repair trailers and converter dollies; complete paperwork accordingly.
