Job summary

NextStep Recruiting partners with a national services organization to identify a Temporary Recruiter. This is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity with an open-ended duration based on business needs.

Ideal for an experienced recruiter who has supported high-volume technician and skilled trades hiring and can take ownership quickly in a fast-paced environment. You will source, screen, and manage candidates while handling multiple openings and pipelines in competitive labor markets.

This position is ideal for an experienced recruiter who has directly supported high-volume technician and skilled trades hiring and can quickly take ownership of active recruiting needs in a fast-paced environment.

Required:

• Previous recruiting experience focused on technicians, skilled trades, field service, or similar hourly technical positions
• Proven ability to independently source, screen, and manage candidates throughout the recruiting process
• Experience managing multiple openings and candidate pipelines simultaneously
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify qualified candidates in competitive labor markets
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills

Preferred:

• Experience recruiting across multiple geographic markets
• Background supporting high-volume or rapidly changing hiring needs
• Experience recruiting for field-based service, construction, restoration, manufacturing, or related environments
• Strong experience with applicant tracking systems and common recruiting platforms
• Previous contract recruiting experience with the ability to ramp up quickly
