Catapult Staffing is seeking a Skilled Trades & Engineering Recruiter to join our team and manage a full recruiting desk. You will source, screen, and place candidates across industrial and construction disciplines—from electricians to field engineers and data center technicians.

This fast-paced, relationship-driven role offers uncapped earning potential tied to performance, with a full-time, in-office/hybrid work setup and clear growth opportunities within our Talent Acquisition team.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates for skilled trades and engineering roles.
• Build and manage candidate pipelines via job boards, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
• Screen resumes and interview to assess qualifications and fit.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and client needs.
• Present qualified candidates to clients in a clear, professional format.
• Manage the full recruiting cycle from sourcing through offer and placement.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the applicant tracking system.
• Stay current on industry trends across construction, industrial trades, and data center markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source and recruit candidates for skilled trades and engineering roles (electricians, instrument fitters, field engineers, construction managers, project managers, data center technicians, and more)
• Build and manage candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
• Screen resumes and conduct candidate interviews to assess qualifications and fit
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and client needs
• Present qualified candidates to clients in a clear, professional format
• Manage the full recruiting cycle from sourcing through offer and placement
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the applicant tracking system
• Stay current on industry trends across construction, industrial trades, and data center markets

Required Experience/Skills:

• Prior recruiting experience (staffing agency experience strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with cold outreach and proactive candidate sourcing
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven mindset

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience recruiting specifically for construction, industrial trades, or data center roles
• Familiarity with skilled trades classifications (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, etc.)
• Existing network within the construction/industrial talent space

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred (not required with relevant experience)
