The Durable Slate Company in Columbus, OH is hiring Skilled Trade Workers to learn roofing and historic restoration. Training is paid and covers slate, tile, copper systems, and historic masonry on notable buildings.

You will assist with installation and repair, work on historic churches and homes, and join a team that values reliability and readiness to learn. The role offers year-round work and opportunities to advance as you gain skills.

Formación

• No roofing or masonry experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
• Willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Construction, landscaping, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with installation and repair of slate, tile, and metal roofing systems as well as historic masonry work
• Work on historic buildings, homes, churches, and specialty structures
• Learn hands-on trade skills in roofing and restoration
• Support skilled crews with materials, setup, and site work
• Grow into advanced craftsmanship roles over time

Skilled Trade Worker – Learn Roofing & Historic Restoration (Paid Training)

Looking for steady, year‑round work in a skilled trade—not just seasonal construction jobs?

The Durable Slate Company is hiring reliable, hardworking individuals to join our restoration teams. We provide full training in roofing, slate, tile, and copper systems as well as historic masonry used on historic and high‑end residential and commercial buildings.

No roofing or masonry experience required—we will train the right candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with installation and repair of slate, tile, and metal roofing systems as well as historic masonry work
