The Durable Slate Company is hiring Roofing Laborers for historic roofing projects. No prior roofing experience required; we provide thorough training in slate, tile, copper systems, and safety practices.

Roofing Laborer– Learn Historic Roofing (Paid Training, opportunity for growth)

Looking for steady, year-round work in a skilled trade—not just seasonal construction jobs?

The Durable Slate Company is hiring reliable, hardworking individuals to join our roofing teams. We provide full training in roofing, slate, tile, and copper systems used on historic residential and commercial buildings.

No roofing experience required—we will train the right candidates.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with installation and repair of slate, tile, and metal roofing systems
• Work on historic buildings, churches, and specialty structures
• Learn hands-on trade skills in roofing and restoration
• Support skilled crews with materials, setup, and site work
• Grow into advanced craftsmanship roles over time

What We’re Looking For
