Ford Motor Company is seeking skilled Tool and Template Makers for a role requiring apprenticeship or extensive experience. You will operate manual Lathes, Mills, and other machines, set up CNC Lathes and Milling machines, and read blueprints and schematics to fabricate and repair fixtures and tooling.

The job emphasizes safety, precision, teamwork, and adherence to shop rules while performing high‑precision metalworking tasks in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship, or 8 years of prior experience, or a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to an apprenticeship.
• Operation of manual Lathes, Mills, Surface Grinders, Radial Drills and metal cutting machines.
• Experience Fabricating and repairing Fixtures and Tooling.
• Set up and operation of CNC Lathes and Milling machines.
• Use of precision measuring tools.
• Blueprint and schematic reading.

Job description

Rate of Pay and Benefits:

Tool and Template Makersare paid a top hourly base rate of $42.52, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is$42.32with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility.
