Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
• Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, blueprint reading, and machine tools used to repair components.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machine systems, including presses, CNC machines, and automated equipment.
• Follow safety rules and work in a team environment.
• Learn and adapt to daily shift schedules, including overtime as needed.
• Inspect, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery.

Job description

Rate of Pay and Benefits:

Machine Repairare paid a top hourly base rate of $43.80, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is$43.60with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment.

Knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, gauge/fixture movement, blueprint reading, (welding and fabrication) operation of machine tools used to make, modify and/or repair machine components. Experienced in maintaining and repairing (presses-CNC Machines,) robots, and (secondary) automated equipment, and will be knowledgeable in (electrical,) mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines. Electrical controls awareness a plus.
