Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover Hinsdale is looking for a Full-Time Skilled Technician to join our service team. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning in a premium Land Rover environment with modern tooling.

You will handle routine maintenance, tire and brake services, and assist with OEM campaigns, maintaining accurate documentation and working with the service team to ensure quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive technician experience required; Skilled Technician, C-Tech, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong technical judgment within classification limits.
• Commitment to safety and consistent adherence to SOPs.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the service team.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance services and fluid exchanges
• Completing tire and brake services and other work within classification scope
• Performing pre-owned vehicle reconditioning and internal retail preparation
• Conducting multi-point inspections and documenting findings accurately
• Performing minor inspections and troubleshooting within classification limits
• Resetting electronic systems when permitted
• Supporting OEM campaigns and service needs within classification limitations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicating effectively with the team to support quality and throughput
