Job summary

Land Rover Hinsdale is seeking a Full-Time Skilled Technician to join our service team. This role supports maintenance, inspections, and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning in a premium Land Rover environment with modern tooling and steady workflow.

The position offers opportunities for ongoing training and advancement toward Journeyman classification, a climate-controlled facility, and a team-focused culture that values quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive technician experience required; Skilled Technician, C-Tech, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong technical judgment within classification limits.
• Commitment to safety and SOP adherence.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the service team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services and fluid exchanges.
• Complete tire and brake services and other work within classification scope.
• Perform pre-owned vehicle reconditioning and internal retail preparation.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and document findings accurately.
• Perform minor inspections and troubleshooting within classification limits.
• Reset electronic systems when permitted.
• Support OEM campaigns and service needs within classification limitations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with the team to support quality and throughput.
