Job summary

Land Rover Hinsdale is seeking a Full-Time Skilled Technician to join our service team. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and pre-owned vehicle reconditioning while upholding the premium standards of our brand.

This role offers consistent hours, modern equipment, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement toward Journeyman classification in a high-quality, climate-controlled dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive technician experience required; Skilled Technician, C-Tech, or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong technical judgment within classification limits
• Commitment to safety and SOP adherence
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the service team
• Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance services and fluid exchanges
• Completing tire and brake services and other work within classification scope
• Performing pre-owned vehicle reconditioning and internal retail preparation
• Conducting multi-point inspections and documenting findings accurately
• Performing minor inspections and troubleshooting within classification limits
• Resetting electronic systems when permitted
• Supporting OEM campaigns and service needs within classification limitations
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicating effectively with the team to support quality and throughput
