Job summary

Handyman Connection of Bozeman is seeking skilled remodelers to join as independent contractors. You will perform home repair, maintenance and remodeling on job sites, bid projects, and ensure accurate materials and quantities for every job.

Build client trust through clear communication and reliable workmanship. We offer 40–60 USD per hour based on experience, performance bonuses, and the freedom to control your schedule.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience in finish carpentry, remodeling, or a combination of both.
• Owns and maintains the tools needed to complete finish carpentry and remodeling projects.
• Has a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and job materials.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain before beginning work, a Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate.
• Maintains the insurance coverage required for independent contractors and can provide proof of coverage.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Communicates professionally with customers and the team, both in person and by phone or message.

Responsibilities

• Share your expertise of home repair, maintenance and remodeling on job sites.
• Bid work on a regular basis and produce it effortlessly.
• Finalize appropriate job materials and quantities for all projects.
• Evaluate requests, price out all jobs, troubleshoot and effectively communicate with clients.
