Handyman Connection of Bozeman is actively seeking independent contractors to perform home repairs and maintenance across the Gallatin Valley. You will handle a range of tasks from drywall patches to TV mounting, fixture replacements, and outdoor upkeep, all with a focus on quality workmanship.

As a trusted local partner, you’ll receive pre-screened projects, clear work orders, and a steady stream of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven finish carpentry experience and an eye for flawless, clean results.
• Skill with measuring and finishing tools (miter saws, routers, chisels, planers, finish nailers).
• Knowledge of hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, and specialty woods.
• Work that meets building codes and installation best practices.

Responsabilités

• Repairs and maintenance: drywall patching, door and cabinet adjustments, caulking, weatherstripping, squeaky floors.
• Installations: TV mounting, shelving, curtain rods, grab bars, smoke detectors, light fixtures or ceiling fans (non-licensed electrical work).
• Fixture updates: faucet, toilet, and garbage disposal replacement (minor plumbing).
• Exterior upkeep: fence and gate repair, deck board replacement, gutter cleaning, screen or storm door repair.
• Small projects: furniture assembly, touch up painting, trim repair, bundled multi-task visits.

WHO YOU ARE

• Paid experience in carpentry, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, or general home repairs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Repairs and maintenance: drywall patching, door and cabinet adjustments, caulking, weatherstripping, and squeaky floor fixes
• Installations: TV mounting, shelving, curtain rods, grab bars, smoke detectors, and light fixtures or ceiling fans (non licensed electrical work only)
• Fixture updates: faucet, toilet, and garbage disposal replacement (minor plumbing that doesn't require a Montana license)
• Exterior upkeep: fence and gate repair, deck board replacement, gutter cleaning, and screen or storm door repair
• Small projects and honey do lists: furniture assembly, touch up painting, trim repair, and bundled multi task visits

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven finish carpentry experience and an eye for flawless, clean results
• Skill with miter saws, routers, chisels, planers, finish nailers, and precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of hardwoods, softwoods, MDF (medium density fiberboard), and specialty woods
• Work that meets building codes and installation best practices
• Professionalism: on time, clean job sites, and respect for every customer's home
• An established trade business with its own phone listing and business cards
• Your own tools, a truck or van, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone
• Commercial liability insurance
• Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate or willingness to obtain. We can assist.
• Successful completion of a background check and credential verification
