Position Title: Quality Technician II
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain completed manufacturing documentation for accuracy
- Scan files and save them to correct folders
- Compile First Article Inspection reports (FAI per AS9102) and Certificates of Compliance for shipments
- Schedule and prepare for customer source inspections
- Assist in gauge calibration with outside service; complete gauge track calibration and provide gauge list to each department monthly; perform gauge R&R studies
- Perform hardness, load loss, grinder burn tests, cleanliness tests, and other testing of product as required
- Ballooning prints and preparing FAIR forms
- Provide documents for shipping
- Perform internal audits as required
- Perform process capability analysis including gauge R&R studies
- Perform inspections for PPAP's, FAIR's, or other inspections as required
- Provide assistance for corrective actions / root cause analysis and assist with the disposition of non-conforming product
Requirements for Quality Technician:
- At least one year of experience in quality or related education
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read prints and develop inspection criteria
- Working knowledge of ISO 9100, ISO 13485, or AS9100
- Experience measuring and inspecting products using optical comparator, calipers and micrometers
- Working knowledge or GD&T
- Experience with SPC, gauge calibration, root cause analysis
