Monroechamber in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Press Brake Operator to set up and run CNC press brake equipment in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.

You will read blueprints, follow work orders, select tooling, verify bends with calipers and gauges, inspect parts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This is a direct-hire opportunity with on-site hours 7:00am–3:30pm. Experience with Delem or Ermak controllers is a plus.

Position Title: Press Brake Operator Wage: $47,840-$54,080/year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to operate press brake equipment in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. This position is a great opportunity for someone with previous press brake or metal fabrication experience who has a solid foundation and is looking to continue developing their skills. This is a direct hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO.

Press Brake Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment
• Follow blueprints, work orders, and setup instructions to accurately form parts
• Select and install appropriate tooling based on job requirements
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed throughout production
• Use measuring instruments to verify bends, dimensions, and finished part quality
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Troubleshoot basic setup or part issues and make necessary corrections
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow production schedules and communicate any quality or equipment concerns
• Learn and operate company-specific press brake equipment and controls

Press Brake Operator Requirements:

• Previous press brake or similar metal fabrication experience preferred
• General understanding of press brake operation, setups, and tooling
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and measurements
• Comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to take direction and work independently once trained
• Experience with Ermak or CI Bend press brakes is a plus
• Experience with Delem controllers is a plus but not required
• Willingness to train on company-specific machines and processes
