Qualifications

• Previous painting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, efficient customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Apply paints, varnish, lacquer to interior/exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment, and other structures.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torches, and smoothing prior to painting or finishing.
• Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing.
• Set up scaffolding, staging, ladders, and planks to reach surfaces.
• Determine appropriate color for new or replacement applications and tint paints as needed.
• Prepare and implement line striping layouts for streets and parking lots.
• Identify, handle, and dispose of paints and hazardous materials per safety policies.
