You will prepare surfaces, apply finishes, and ensure safety on the job site while maintaining high workmanship standards and collaboration with team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting materials.
• Ability to work safely at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliable transportation to jobsite in St Clair County area.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting including cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching
• Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Select and mix paints and coatings to match color specifications
• Set up and safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment
• Apply caulking, sealants, and primers as needed before painting
• Protect floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout each project
